“Spacious room, very friendly and welcoming staff. The location is very convenient as it is close to a Metro Station. The museums and the central station are in walking distance, several cafés for breakfast and a supermarket are very close. I’ll come back to Hostal Edreira when I visit Madrid again.”
“Just one night but perfect! Very convenient between the train station and everything you want to see in town. Good size, really clean room, and very helpful staff who even looked after our luggage until 4.00pm - thanks! Lots and lots of breakfast options within about 50 metres. Really good value at this price point.”
“I had a wonderful stay at Hostal Edreira. The location is absolutely perfect close to everything you might need, from shops and restaurants to main attractions. The value for money is excellent, and I was genuinely impressed by how clean and well-maintained the place was. The staff cleaned the room every day, and they even changed the bedsheets daily, which made the stay feel extra comfortable. The hostal is very safe and secure, with access codes that always worked perfectly. The service was great, and everyone was helpful and professional. The room itself had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, I was extremely satisfied and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!”
“Stayed 2 nights end of July 2022. Good stay. Easy access to Central Station uphill and all amenities. Really cool 1500s (? I think) building with ancient stairs that are beautifully worn. Quiet and cool and comfortable after long days in the heat sightseeing. Shower was small and the little shampoo packs were horrible!, had to use knife to cut open. Extra little bed in the room made room really tight would have been better with small hide-a-bed. Was a good place to stay for inexpensive couple of nights.”
“The best feature of Hostal Edreira is its location, very central, within walking distance to most sights, including the most popular museums, and restaurants, shopping and supermarkets. Rooms are very basic and small, essentially a single bed with a bedside table and small table, and a shower that’s tiny with bare amenities. It’s important to confirm check-in procedures in advance since the main door is locked and reception mostly unattended. Luckily, the hotel has an elevator, which is very important for old bldgs. If you’re comfortable (and not claustrophobic) in small, sparse rooms in return for a great location, then this Hostal is a good choice.”
“Perfect hotel in town center, easy check-in/check out, super location.”
